Climate Resilience

We identify, quantify, and help manage the risk that climate change poses to assets, portfolios and corporate strategies. Our sustainability specialists identify the climate change risks that buildings are facing and advise on the most appropriate adaptation and mitigation measures to prevent or minimise the damage climate risk can cause and take advantage of opportunities that may arise.

Climate adaptation

Using credible climate risk analysis combined with asset condition and performance data, we assess physical and operational risk and develop strategies for climate adaptation.

Our resilience advisory encompasses assets, operational matters and the human health and safety aspects. We can provide engineering design to enable comprehensive resilience retrofits through to undertaking Resilience Impact Assessments and developing organisation-wide plans for managing risks and responding to physical and environmental stressors.

Context mapping and Impact analysis

We provide the research and context that enables effective decision-making including bespoke reports on the evolving policy landscape, competitor benchmarking research and stakeholder engagement strategies. We can also assist with assessments and advice on social value creation, social impact assessment, nature-related risks and opportunities, supply chain strategies and sustainable procurement planning.

Social value strategy

The goalposts are moving rapidly for social value, with more investors and stakeholders wanting clear information on how a business, property asset or initiative will benefit the wellbeing of people. Our understanding of frameworks including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Australia’s National Wellbeing Framework and the measurement approaches of Social Value International enables clients to develop approaches to enhance social value, measure and report on it.
