As the momentum around electrification, climate adaptation retrofits and energy optimisation accelerates across Australia’s property sector, Geronimo Advisory is delighted to announce that we are expanding our capabilities, with green building expert Jacquelin Britto joining our team.

Jacquelin joins us from her role as Associate at AECOM, where she led sustainability consulting initiatives – crafting vision, strategy, and roadmaps for clients committed to environmental excellence.

Her career also includes pivotal work with Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority, where she has co-led many green building frameworks, policy development, and energy efficiency programs.

In addition to holding qualifications in architecture and building science, she is an accredited professional with Green Star, LEED, BCA Green Mark, EDGE and ESTIDAMA PEARL certifications.

“Singapore is one of the most advanced nations when it comes to energy performance standards for buildings, so it will be of enormous value for our clients in Australia to have access to Jacqueline’s wealth of knowledge and expertise,” says Geronimo founder and Principal, Mathuran Marianayagam.

“Her portfolio includes providing environmental sustainable design and certification services for exceptionally complex and demanding projects including data centres, medical campuses, industrial parks, smart city developments and advanced manufacturing facilities in Singapore and across the region.

“We are delighted to have Jacquelin onboard to support developers, asset owners and facilities managers in these niche sectors to assess, benchmark, optimise and decarbonise these essential building types.”
